This is a guide on how to customise your report layouts to suit your company’s style.
Non-admin users of the system can govern their own account settings. They can amend the print options and fonts for reports and also add their own Greetings, Footnotes, Logos and a Watermark.
Admin users have the ability to set defaults for all of their company’s users.

Greetings and Footnotes
A greeting is used as an introduction to the report and will appear at the top, just below the project addresses.
A footnote is used to end the report with a closing statement. T&C’s can also be added per user if your company does not wish to have them set up as an admin footnote.
You will be able to add/edit your notes (and other account defaults) in My Settings. To access this, exit out of any existing projects and click on the “My Settings” button at the bottom right of the screen.
Inside the window that pops up, there’s a tab for each type of note. These tabs are both set up the same with two boxes. The top box is where you’re able to enter a default text to appear on every new report, and the bottom box is where shared footnotes are set up ready to be used in the future.
Once you start a new project and click on the “Notes” section at the bottom of the spreadsheet, you’ll be able to see and amend your pre-set notes.
Before printing the report, double click on a shared greeting or footnote to add it or type over the default to make changes.
Once you print the report, AQ will open the project in the report viewer.
At the top of the page, in the middle are the different report types that can be created through AutoQuotes. Switch to the report you would like to customise by clicking on its name.
As it is in HTML format in this viewer, you will need to click on the “open PDF” button at the top left of the page after making changes to make sure it looks correct before sending it off to the customer.
Logos and Watermark
To change the header logo, footer logo or watermark on your report, you will need to click on the “Logos” button at the top right of the page to bring up the logos window.
Click “choose image” button and find your saved logo. Then use the buttons and check-boxes to change the size of the logo (in inches) and centre it. This logo will override your company’s admin logo if the “use admin logo for this report type” box is not ticked.
The watermark is different, you’ll need to set a page range for it to appear on and also choose the size mode and alignment of it.
The report options are on the right hand side of the report viewer and are used to customise the structure of the report (thumbnails on/off, report title etc).
It is advised to choose the report format you desire before continuing down the rest of the options and setting them to suit your requirements.
If you would like to change the look of the text on the report, click on the “Fonts” button at the top right.
This will bring up a window with a list of fonts used in the report. You can then go down these and change the font name, colour, size and formatting.
Administrator users on AutoQuotes will be able to set company-wide defaults for the logo for the greetings and footnotes. This is done within the “Admin Settings” section.
The “Company Notes” button is found at the top of the screen and is where you can create the admin greetings and footnotes. These will appear on every quote made by anyone in your company. They do not override the default notes that the standard users have set up and will, instead, appear right below them.
It is a good idea to set your T&C’s as an admin footnote.
You can also add PO instructions to appear on every purchase order created through AutoQuotes.
An admin logo can be added to all company quotes by clicking on the “Logo” button at the top of the screen and then searching for your logo via the “+” button. Amend the dimensions and location of the logo with the boxes on the right (these are in inches) and then press the tick to save it.
That is all of the customisation options available within AutoQuotes.
Please have a go at setting your quotes up yourself and we will be happy to answer any queries.
